Elegant lightweight accessory for any season
$170.00
Blue nuno felted stole, shawl, wrap, scarf, silk lace wrap hand made by using wet felting process from extra fine merino wool roving , margilan silk, silk and viscose fiber, OOAK.
In the wet felting process, hot water and soap are applied to layers of wool roving, while repeated agitation and compression causes the fibers to hook together or weave together into a single piece of fabric. Felt from wool is considered to be the oldest known textile.
Nuno felting is the process of felting wool roving into another fabric (silk). "Nuno" is a Japanese word for cloth or fabric. I used margilan silk gauze rarefied.
The scarf is lightweight, warm, soft and airy.
Elevate your wardrobe with this exquisite handmade felted shawl, artfully crafted to showcase swirling patterns in vibrant shades of blue and delicate touches of white. Each shawl features a wonderfully soft texture and a lightweight feel, making it the perfect accessory for any season. Treat yourself or gift someone special with this timeless statement accessory.

Care instruction:
Wool is a unique organic fiber and has a self-cleaning ability but you can wash scarf when it necessary.
To keep the scarf beautiful, you hand wash it in in slightly warm water (30C 86F) with hair shampoo and delicate garment detergent (such as Woolite). Soak scarf in warm water than raise it carefully without shaking it. Do not change the water temperature when you rinse out the soap. (If you wash it in hot water the item may shrink further), squeeze the water out (wrap it up into a towel). Reshape with hands while damp. Do not tumble dry. lay flat to dry.
