Felted pink flower brooch, pin, wool brooch, wool flower pin hand made by using wet felting process from extra fine merino wool and finished with delicate bead accents for a subtle sparkle.
In the wet felting process, hot water and soap are applied to layers of wool roving, while repeated agitation and compression causes the fibers to hook together or weave together into a single piece of fabric. Felt from wool is considered to be the oldest known textile.
