Handmade Wool Felted Neck Warmer Collar with wool locks, OOAK

Wool felted scarf, neck warmer, collar with wool locks, OOAK hand made by using wet felting process from extra fine merino wool roving, silk fabric, mulberry silk fiber, viscose fiber, raw wool locks for a rich texture and natural beauty.

In the wet felting process, hot water and soap are applied to layers of wool roving, while repeated agitation and compression causes the fibers to hook together or weave together into a single piece of fabric. Felt from wool is considered to be the oldest known textile.

Measurements: length around the neck 34"(87cm) approx. width 13" ( 35 cm ) in the widest part approx.

This collar could be worn with coats, jackets or dresses, collar is lightweight, soft and warm. Please remember: colors may vary slightly in person, as each monitor is different.

Care instruction: Wool is a unique organic fiber and has a self-cleaning ability but you can wash scarf when it necessary. To keep the scarf beautiful, you hand wash it in in slightly warm water (30C 86F) with hair shampoo and delicate garment detergent (such as Woolite). Soak scarf in warm water than raise it carefully without shaking it. Do not change the water temperature when you rinse out the soap. (If you wash it in hot water the item may shrink further), squeeze the water out (wrap it up into a towel). Reshape with hands while damp. Do not tumble dry. lay flat to dry.
